The Blog equivalent of Commentators Curse?

When writing the 'Antiversary' post, I was acutely aware that something did not seem right. That feeling of unease came about when I was writing the section about my realising that although one area of my life wasn't going as well as I wished; overall The Good Ship Hoppers was still in good condition.

However, since the start of the new university term that situation has rather gone out of the window. This is of course not surprising because health will affect most, if not all, areas of life.

Since the start of term, I have simply been unable to get into gear. The pericarditis is on the way out, but various fall-outs from my illness mean that I currently find myself in an unenviable state.

The cold that the pericarditis developed from has subsided, leaving in it's place Post Viral Fatigue. This has left me feeling mentally washed out to a degree I have never experienced before. Indeed, at the moment I only have enough mental energy to work for a maximum of around three hours each day. I am trying to push on with last year's assignments before they snowball into the ones I am going to be set for this term. The result of this is that I am unable to afford myself the opportunity to completely recover; which is unsurprisingly causing other problems.

My immediate priority is to get my two assignments out of the way; before trying to concentrate on anything other matters.

By the time I write here again, I hope to have something more positive to say. I dislike having to give bad news to good people.
